About

Dublin By Design is a record of the things people start in their own neighbourhoods, and a way to learn from them.

Who it’s for

Anyone who has started something on their street, or wants to.

What belongs here

Projects run by the community, from the bottom up. Not council schemes, and not company projects.

Who is behind it

Humana Design, a service design practice in Dublin. We help write things up. The projects belong to the people who made them.

Our promises

• We ask before we list anything. You choose how, or whether, your project appears.
• We only ever show a neighbourhood, never an address.
• We never publish children’s names or photos.
• If being listed could put a project at risk, we do not say where it is.
• Every entry says when it was last checked. Some projects end, and the site says so.
